Sheltering Ponies
Gales have been blowing, light showers and dull, even mist came down at teatime, thankfully lifted again.
Popped by Madeline's after, and then onwards to work in the airport. I was working in the heli end in the morning, meeting and boarding planes in the afternoon, and check-in desk this evening. The Edinburgh flight tonight got cancelled, due to the fog, but Aberdeen made it in after. Thankfully not too many on the Edinburgh flight to sort. Walkies with Sammy, and then feet up.
Not much of a day for a lunchtime walk, so sat in my car at lunchtime with my sandwiches. Just below me, three ponies were huddled together, sheltering from the wind and rain. As I approached, they did come over for a yarn, but stayed close to the dyke. Taken at Grutness, Sumburgh.
