Not today but facing us all in the future?

Rising sea levels. Global warning. Increased flood risks. As I write this there are critical floods in Nigeria, Pakistan, The Philippines and Australia. In 2007 there were devastating floods here too. Hard to believe on such a gloriously sunny and warm autumn day as we walked on The Ham at Tewksbury today. The Rivers Severn and Avon meet here. The Abbey is built on the driest part of this extensive flood plain.
