Croome

It was a lovely, albeit, breezy morning for a walk at our nearest NT property here at Croome just over the county border in Worcestershire.

In addition to visiting the house we also walked 3 miles through the parkland. The easterly wind meant the nearby M5 motorway was completely inaudible. Thanks to the foliage the motorway was almost completely invisible too.

The false autumn we witnessed here after the summer drought on an earlier visit has not had the impact on the autumn leaves that we had feared when the grass was carpeted with dead leaves in August.
