Lovely early morning stroll around Brimham in the gorgeous sunshine. Lots to see, woodpeckers, kestrels, and a wide array of mushrooms. Extra of those seen today. I think these are nick-named “The Sickener”. Their write-up includes,

“Make a meal of Russula emetica, however, and you can expect to feel very poorly indeed for quite a few days. On the positive side, when in good condition these are among the prettiest of woodland fungi.”
