All Singing, All Dancing (and Playing)

Went to Street Football Club this afternoon to watch a charity match in aid of Clic Sargeant between a Street All - Stars 11 and a Yeovil Legends team and was rather taken aback by this chap, who seemed a bit overdressed for a warm Sunday afternoon.

When he took the microphone, we assumed he was going to introduce the players who had just lined up on the pitch. Instead he launched into, it has to be said, a fairly tuneless version of You'll Never Walk Alone, much to the amazement and amusement of spectators and players alike. He then nipped off the pitch, to return 5 minutes later in his football kit and take his place on the pitch; during the course of the game he must have played in just about every position except goalie.

Certainly couldn't fault his enthusiasm and entertainment value.
