The colors are changing. How lucky am I? One of my neighbors said she has been ruined for life, she's seen the colors in New England and now nothing else will impress her. 

There is an annual "sale" to buy a bunch of photography classes. They bundle a whole bunch together, tell you it is worth thousands, and sell them to you for <$100 and promise some to charity. The whole thing is sold in as scammy a way possible, but I bought it anyway because there is a class from one of my new favorite photographers on shooting and editing the MIlky Way. I've taken two workshops and watched a lot of YouTube but I've forgotten how I used to edit them and there are more advanced editing techniques that I never learned. I've begun watching and I'm already thrilled. This is the 5 day deal thing. 

Ukraine's "I Want to Live" website to help soldiers surrender has received 2,000 requests. It was so effective that the Russian government banned Russians from accessing it. 

St. Petersburg fired the man in charge of the military mobilization there, a sign of how unpopular and chaotic it was but also .... a major Russian city daring to oppose Putin. 

Ukraine will soon get the latest air defense systems, NASAMS for Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System, designed to destroy targets at low and medium altitudes. Soldiers have already been trained.

Spain is providing Ukraine with a modernized air defence system. Britain and the Netherlands intend to provide additional missiles for the air defense/anti-missile defense systems.  

With every awful thing Russia does, our resistance to providing the latest and greatest weapons decreases. 

Ukraine is implementing the NATO system for accounting and logistics. This is in accordance with NATO principles. Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Oleksii Reznikov, said that the Ukrainian military has mastered over 300 NATO standards. Not a bad rate of institutional change for a country simultaneously fighting a war.

The tv journalist who protested Putin on live television fled Russia with her daughter. They are now in Europe. 

CBS has a video of a cat rescued from a building destroyed by a drone attack in Kyiv. The cat is held by a fireman while another fireman places clothes on it and then wraps it in a reflective blanket.
