The Peak District

I finished this watercolour of the Peak District inspired by our recent visit. I have started another one, this time in acrylics, of Kinder Scout. I phoned up the dentist this morning because my antibiotics are finished but I am still having quite a bit of discomfort. I didn’t get a call back till the afternoon and then the message was to take paracetamol. I was very surprised at this as I imagine, if the abscess is still there, it will just get worse again. My follow up appointment is not for seven weeks. Eventually, after I said it was not reasonable to wait so long with an abscess, she said I could phone again on Thursday if it is any worse. I just hope that it stays at the current bearable level until then….
