Cracking Eggs

Esmé came over for pancakes and eggs this morning, with her dad and her grandmother. First we sat outside and carved a small pumpkin (she drew the face, more or less, and we carved), then she cracked six eggs into a bowl for scrambled eggs. In the extra she scoops up buttons, from a board game we made, as her pumpkin watches. What a kid; made my day; always does.
