Stuff and Nonsense

Eko the sea Giant

Warrington is celebrating the opening weekend of the Rugby League World Cup. There are various events going on this weekend with a 13ft sea giant puppet parading through the town centre.
The spectacle was designed specifically for family audiences and tells the magical story of Eko, a sea giant who rises from the deep ocean and who encounters, on the shore, a courageous little girl called Violet.

It featured in a large-scale outdoor performance called "Out of the Deep Blue" by Autin Dance Theatre which is inspired by the themes of the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis.

I enjoyed it, but it was difficult to get good shots as there were a lot of people insistent on walking right in front of you all the time.

Something different though :)
