Shoveler #66
The grant of probate for my late uncle's estate arrived whilst we were away, so I spent the morning writing letters and making phone calls whilst we had our house alarm serviced. It was quite a productive morning, which is more than can be said for our visit to Lunt Meadows in the afternoon.
There was not a great deal around, and those ducks that were about were quite distant.
We sat in the hide with one of the wardens giving us the low down on what had been seen - not a lot to be honest. This female Shoveler looked splendid in the sunshine but didn't exactly do a lot. Ah, well, they can always be performing for us can they? :))
I'm at camera club this evening, so probably won't get much time for journals, sorry, but let's see.
