Watching the Gliders
Following on from the sleepover last night we woke up and had croissants for breakfast before embarking on a team carrot cake making session. When all cakes were cooked we had bacon butties for lunch and then drove off up the country lanes behind Talgarth for the long walk aimed at burning a few of the calories thus far consumed. It was a truly glorious day. Brilliant sunshine but clouds and winds making the skies incredible. The thermals must have been good as the little gliding school nearby was working overtime with planes flying over head and then releasing the gliders to silently carry on . At the top of the hill the gliders come really close and you can get a good view.
This picture shows Debbie and Sarah looking at the glider and plane just as they uncouple. The planes are tiny in the picture and you may have to go large to see them.
Took lots of photos. Some probably technically better than this one but I like the diary aspect of it.
Hope evryone is having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend in the sun.
