Lions v Ulster

Felt odd to be at Ellis Park in warm, or make that hot, weather.

Our anticipation was that Ulster would find the conditions of 31 degrees, in the bowl that is Ellis Park, and the altitude that they found Joburg to be, a tad challenging, well they took the day.

Thankfully our factor 50 protected us from the elements, and the crowd, although sparse, was fun, even if we didn’t always understand the comments in Afrikaans from the couples behind us.

It’s been a great Saturday.
