Moorhen

After a day of data analysis, I finally headed out about 4 p.m. - only to find huge queues of traffic at the A47 roundabout. So I quickly changed direction to avoid the worst of it and ended up at Thorpe Meadows, which I've scarcely visited at all this year. The late afternoon light was beautiful and it gave me a chance to try photographing birds with the R7 which arrived this morning and my RF 100-400 lens - a very lightweight duo that I'm pretty happy with so far....
