Not A Starry Night

Unfortunately with today’s blustery storm there will be no viewing of stars tonight, so instead you’ll have to enjoy Ducky’s Vincent van Gogh moment from this morning :) • I was pleased to see the dear deer didn’t visit last night, leaving enough seeds in the feeders for any daring birds or squirrels to nibble on. It also meant I could remain inside all day and be a lazy slug! • It’s been a wild and wet day with the gusty wind. Tree tops have been in constant motion blowing from one side to the other. A blizzard of leaves fills the air, blasting colorful swirls and twirls past our windows. It seems early for bare trees yet perfectly fitting for Halloween, which is only 17 days away • Not entirely a slug, I did make a vegan corn chowder for dinner. Yum! Do you think it would be best with crackers or crusty bread? • Happy Weekend, Everyone!
