Schizostylis coccinea

I have only ever known this plant as Schizostylis but it appears it is also known as Hesperantha coccinea.   Common names include River Lily and Crimson Flag Lily.

The blip is of one of the plants growing beside Kanyl's pond.  The position seems to suit it well as it likes moist but well drained soil.  It is a native of South Africa and Zimbabwe but is hardy to in the region of -10°C.

As I have blipped this recently (I Think) I decided to make it a little different by colour poping.
