European Larch Cones

A beautiful autumnal day ..... a chilly start but the sun soon helped the temperature to rise.

Walking in Pollok Park this morning I found a branch of a larch tree lying in the middle of a path ..... carried by a dog or dropped by the gardeners ... it certainly didn't fall onto that particular path.
