three in one….

a friend was due to come for coffee this morning but she rang to say she!d been in close contact with someone who had covid, so we had a nice catch up over the phone……later she dropped a beautiful orchid in a tall glass vase off..which she would have brought this morning.

then i went for a walk and facetimed mum this afternoon ….the other b&b doesn't sound hopeful either, so i think i’ll better look for hotels in the next town…..

i heard from mum’s carer that the part of the hotel where i usually stay is now filled with refugees……
