a nice day with the bible group met at mine this morning…..one treated us on muffins….yummie

the visit to mum is peppered with difficulties…my usual hotel is closed till it’s been rebuilt (they had a fire in 2021) …it’s the only hotel in the small town…. i thought i found a b&b, they rang me this afternoon and they have building work going on as well and she is not sure when…..so she gave me the only other b&b there and i will ring them tomorrow…..

the alternative is a hotel in the next town but that’s going to be very expensive in taxi fares….that combined with often cancelled flights makes travel a nightmare for me….
