Boating Pond?

This is a pond that has been built in the new Niers Park. It is for decoration, hence the fountains , but the other end is big enough to sail a model boat. I went and measured how deep the water is at the edges and it varies between 18 and 26 cms, the deepest being at the far end away from the fountains. The building is the Tax Office, so will be deserted after 4 o'clock in the afternood. My big boat takes 19 cms at the keel weight, so will have to keep her up the deep end, the depth in the centre is more than 10cms more so OK there. Sailing model boats is sure to be forbidden, after all, here in Germany everything is possible except that which is forbidden!
