On finals

Spent the day at the microlight trade fair at Popham Airfield today. Got very wet early on as the rain showers came through and then later the sun came out, and although it was windy it was a great day. Lots of visiting aircraft, some of whom found the blustery conditions challenging, and others who looked like they had done it all before!

I chose this picture out of many as it shows one of our club aircraft turning finals as it came back in to land after a quick flight. The clouds were still threatening at this point so it looks quite dramatic.
