All alone!

Visiting frineds today and although the busy traffic caused a delayed arrival, we found scones & jam waiting for us. This specimen was all that was left after we had 'indulged'. Its brothers/sisters were extremely tasty and had gone the way of the best scones!

I guess we sometimes feel all alone when friends or relatives have gone off to do other things, and that can either be a relief (space at last!) or quite lonely (who can I talk to?). Its good to have others around, but some of us need a bit of space too.

I rejoice that I have a God who says "I will never leave you or forsake you", but who also allows us the space to just 'be' as well.
