Time To Go

It’s come around quickly, or it seems to have, only three full days but it’s been great. No TV, no radios, not too much tech, more beer than usual, good weather and great company.
Breakfast was ‘use everything’ before heading home, then it was time to pack up and go, easier than it sounds.
The weather going across Dartmoor was beautiful, clear and sunny with breathtaking views. A pit stop for coffee and cake gave me the opportunity to catch up with a link that son Joshua sent me, an article from his Scottish Rugby Paper;
The Offside Line - First For Scottish Rugby

"My expectations of a quality game were not high, but I was pleasantly surprised. For starters, both teams had a full complement of replacements, there was a vociferous but fair minded home support, while the referee who come all the way from Elgin had an excellent game, helped greatly by the good discipline exhibited by both teams".

Josh reckons the writer never stayed until the end of the match and saw the two yellow cards.

Home in time to unload the van before a shower and a walk to the pharmacy for my flu jab.

Paddy excited to see us and we have a treat in store for him tomorrow.
