Centro Botin

This futuristic looking art gallery in Santander was designed by an Italian architect. I love the way it juts out over the sea.
We took the bus into Santander after breakfast. It was raining when we left Laredo but by the time we arrived (40 mins later) it was warm and sunny. We walked through the town to the beaches (wishing we’d brought our swim bags) stopping for brunch and vermouths. Out to the beach to read my book in the evening once home but unfortunately too cold for a swim.
