Signs of Spring: Laundry

Today's Blip notes with satisfaction the fact that the weather today ended up warm enough for hanging washing on the line in the back garden. Blowing around in the breezy sunshine, my colourful silk shirt dried in just over an hour. I also successfully dried a full laundry load of towels over the afternoon.

Earlier in the day, the weather had been considerably less auspicious; shortly after 1, we had a heavy rain shower followed by pelting hail. Apparently, though, this was pretty localised to Leytonstone, as Sharon had a precipitation-free afternoon just a couple of miles away in Walthamstow.
