El Festival de la Cerveza

Mix of clouds and sunshine today. The waves were too big for me to take the plunge but Mr P braved them while I read my book.
We wondered what all the noise was about last night and didn’t realise until this afternoon that a big beer festival (beers from 10 countries) was taking place this weekend across the road! The tourist office rep didn’t mention it when we asked her for local events. She maybe thought we were too old and sedate for it. The beer is only about £1.75 a pint but I’m definitely a lightweight so I’ve left Mr P with his Spanish friend Juanma to enjoy it!
