Haunted Hoose o Horrors

Another fine sunny day, when it wasn't raining.  More gales, but they've blown out tonight, now flat calm, and stars out.

Day off and up early.  Headed out walkies after breakfast.  Nipped into Lerwick for supermarket shopping.  More walkies, and then popped along Madeline's.  Headed out west with Sammy this afternoon.  Mam and Anne (Nicolson) were presenting "Give us a Tune" on Radio Shetland this evening, so I headed to to Laura's to tune in.  Laura's caravan lodger, Luiz from Brazil, was delighted to get a shout out for his help with the programme.  Quiet night by the fire now. 

Friend and local artist, BO (Balazs Onhausz, originally from Hungary, but settled here 10+ years) has put up a spooky exhibition in an old abandoned manor.  The paintings are characters from various scary movies, TV shows and Edgar Allan Poe.  Balazs has made a big splash on the local art scene with his fantastic portraits, giving the audience something new to look at and his locations are superb.  I'll have to come back and get a few more snaps in different light.  All the paintings are for sale, and money being donated to the Vidlin community to save the local kirk.  A spooky Halloween exhibition at Park Hall, Bixter.
