Hoy, Early October, Late Afternoon.
Into full swing with a passage across to Hoy in a stiff sooth-wester. There was a good bit of seamanship on display. The journey was boosted by the presence of ‘my pal’ Wille Tulloch. He is presently working on the roof of an old croft in Graemsay. Across on Hoy we shifted all of the artefacts, exhibitions, wall hangings and library into the Kirk’s vestry or upstairs. After our last meeting of the year a major interior refurb is due.
It suddenly felt cold in the Kirk, late pm, but then I noticed that my hormone patch had slipped down to my ankle area. It wasn’t minuted.
Bumper Graham is nearly 70.
