It was a Dull Day at the Old Croft

A dull, wet day, in which the vehicle was recovered for its journey south to Perth.  Reginald and Madeline departed Creel HQ at 05.30, courtesy of CMC taxis.

The population of Orkney is around 21,500 folk.  In the middle of the 19th century it was about 33,000.  Many crofts often held five or more inhabitants.  The population decrease has particularly been noted in the outer isles.
