Spring in our step

This morning I joined the Scottish Wildlife Trust lothian group for a spring walk around the scrapes at Musselburgh with Wildlife Ranger, Nick Aitken. It was an excellent morning stomp with lots to see along the way including Black Caps, Buzzards, Swallows, Skylarks, Black Tailed Godwit, Curlew, Whimbrel, Eider ducks Velvet Scooters and Turnstones to name but a few. Anyway my blip pic was a shot taken looking across at Portobello and a slightly different view of Carlton Hill. Sadly the gorgeous weather at the start of the walk turned cold and windy by the end but still a good outing.
