Water levels have more than recovered, in fact we learnt today of a farmer in Borrowdale that lost most of his sheep in a flash flood last Friday. 

I met up with some friends from the camera club this morning, as I'm lecturing tomorrow, after a brew and a chat we headed into Keswick for some pics. Eventually the rain eased and we risked Strandshag Bay, but whilst we were there, witnessed this approaching downpour. (Yes, we did get caught in it), the sun shining through the rain only lasted a couple of minutes. Worth getting a bit wet for a decent pic though, and had a great afternoon out with them.
