Irises

We had friends for dinner last Saturday, and they bought Deb a lovely bunch of Irises.

As today was horribly wet, I spent much of the day re-siliconing round my shower tray - a job I hate doing (just in case I miss a bit). Photography was confined to indoors. I firstly did a Pep Ventosa on the Irises. Last Friday at the camera club we had a speaker who had tried some photos with textured backgrounds, so I thought I'd give it a go. 

Pretty pleased with the result - might not be worth as much as a Van Gogh, but an hour in PhotoShop taught me a huge amount!
