Drips
11.7C with bright spells and cloudy spells. Breezy.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch.
In the field with the bridle path the triple disc harrow was back, lying near the top entrance to the field. Looks like the farmer has sown the rest of the field. In the lower part of the field the crop is showing through the ground in regular rows of sturdy green shoots.
We saw a few dog walkers with dogs on and near the beach. The tide was out a fair way. 'Shamara II' was floating in the shallows, and 'Valhalla VI' was resting on the sand.
We wandered all the way along the beach past the car park then went up to the back of the beach. We wanted to look at the boat which has been turned back over to be the right way up. Maeve had a sniff around, and found strips of wood that had been taken from the gunwales of the boat. I took the hint and had a look at the hull where the strips of wood had been. The blue paint had run down between the hull and the wooden strip when the boat was last painted. Nice drippy shapes and some colour for blipping :-)
Later there will be tea and a pink iced Empire biscuit !
