King of the Stump

I’m lagging a day behind at the moment, posting more than 24 hours after taking the blip for the day. This was Sunday’s walk with Bertie taking up his characteristic position on the nearest high point. He does make me smile the way he hops up then slowly turns through 360 degrees to make sure he doesn’t miss a thing. Inspection complete, we can carry on with our walk. When there are a number of tree stumps in the area as there were on this walk, I have to try to avoid most of them, otherwise we would never get anywhere!
