Autumnal berries

A quick snap of the cotoneaster berries before the blackbirds finish them all! 

Lots of birds about today. Probably still recovering from all the wind and rain yesterday. Much calmer today.  There are even midges about!

On the shore a greylag goose, looking rather sorry for itself. It wasn't there later in the day, so hopefully it went and found the rest of its flock.
