Tower Ballroom

My Sweet Lord, Gearge Harrison, the youngest Beatle, would have been 70 today. The Tower Ballroom was a prevalent music venue throughtout the sixties where bands such as The Beatles would have played on their UK tours. When the Beatles came to Birmingham in 1963 though, they played the Town Hall and the Odeon but not the Tower Ballroom. Sorry. But I'm really kicking myself now because you've no idea how close I came to walking into Brum today to get a picture of the Odeon. I'll save that for another day.
