Ahh, Nuts!

…I can’t believe I did that! • Around here it’s pretty easy getting a silly photo. Just stand in the yard for any length of time and you’ll find a young squirrel trying to figure things out. You see, learning to be a squirrel is uniquely challenging. Take this guy, for example. He was surprised to find some in-shell peanuts on top of this granite post, which stands more than three feet off the ground. He immediately grabbed two but couldn’t figure out how to stuff them both into his mouth • Inserting one was easy-peasy but pushing a second one in only popped out the first one. He tried this technique several times with the same result. Eventually they both popped out, rolled across the post, and dropped all the way to the ground. Ahh, Nuts!!
