Today we had the bonus fun of an overnight stay from our local grandsons. We had our plans. They had even better plans. Their parents had hardly left the house before Blue Peter was called up on iPlayer and the steps to make two Strictly Come Dancing score paddles were soon underway! Then it was on to the workshop to complete the junk robot and paint the undercoat on the F1 trophy ahead of tomorrow’s Singapore GP.

Before our evening meal there was time for some cricket in the park beside our house. While fielding my own bowling I stumbled on this painted stone in the grass. It is part of a Cheltenham wide kindness project. We photographed it and left it semi hidden in the grass.

This morning I wrote again to our MP.

This evening those Blue Peter Strictly Score paddles, that “we made earlier” were put to good use!
