Wet again

Daughters birthday today so an early phone call to say happy birthday. Can’t believe she is 36 and a mum. Makes me feel old.
We planned to walk to the reservoir today as the weather forecast suggested it would be sunny intervals, I assumed that would be cloudy intervals but it was rain. We decided we would go anyway. Got ready and as we left the camper Hetty stood on a wasp, she was so distressed and would not put her back foot down. We calmed her and made sure all was well with the foot but she still refused to walk. We decided best leave her and went off for the walk. Lots of waterfowl and photographers, must have been something unusual there but I didn’t know what I was looking for.
Lunch and then attempted to walk Hetty and she was fine.
Walked along the river next to the site and spotted a kingfisher, unfortunately not quick enough to get a photo.
