Woolacombe

The skies had cleared this morning making great conditions for walking the length of the beach at Woolacombe, despite the strong breeze. The receding tide had left these interesting formations in the sand in the main blip.

We fortified ourselves with coffee and cake at the cafe at the Putsborough end of the beach before walking all the way back (see extra), by which time we were ready for takeaway fish and chips which we ate sitting on the esplanade and enjoying the view.

Our legs were ready for the hot tub when we got back.
