The End Of The Cosmos

The heavy rain yesterday and overnight battered down the cosmos: this is one of the last ones standing so thought I’d capture it while I could.

We dropped Sophie off at school this morning as usual, (on the way she was musing on clouds) then enjoyed a breakfast roll in the cafe at Sainsbury’s where we had to buy a replacement for our microwave which gave up the ghost yesterday: it was making all the right noises but not actually heating anything at all.

After that it was a day of domestic jobs, including a trip to the recycling centre with the old microwave and a car load of other stuff that had accumulated in the garage, as well as the weekly bread baking.
