A foggy morning after a quiet night on a good France Passion site. We said goodbye to the farmer and headed for Vitry-le-Francoise just below the champagne area. A good supermarket stop, Inter Marche. Here we came across laundrette facilities as in washing machines and a drier, under a cover outside, the best we have come across and the costliest, 12 euros, it was worth it. Also topped up the shopping and gas for the van. This will run the hot water, heating, fridge and freezer when electricity is not available, FP sites don’t include facilities such as this.

Our lovely Housesitter is leaving early in the morning, my sister and husband have just arrived on Mull.

This afternoon we entered the champagne area and parked in one of the cave owners car park, many champagne growers allow ‘Camping Cars’ to park over night, the aim is to entice us in. Our owner isn’t here, will see if he appears. The view is looking down and across the village and vineyards, we are watching several para gliders, over on the other side.
