...and so back home
After a long day of taking turns to drive we arrived home this evening. Tired but very content with our trip.
This morning we had to decide if we were staying away on more day, to the very last moment, or getting home today, which would give us all of Friday to recover and prepare for Saturday's drive to Umeå. Since the weather was turning decidedly dodgy we decided to take the latter option.
The day started in lovely fashion, as the main blip shows. Our overnight was in the trees on the right, a lovely spot, entirely silent apart from chirping birds this morning. Look carefully about 80% of the way across the picture and you can see a tiny splash of white, 'Arry, our camper.
As we travelled a grey sky slowly took over from the blue, as seen in the extra.
Later we left the scrub birch of the high ground and drove through the big forest, but all the way dramatic weather and glorious autumn were the themes of the journey (Jan's blip).
It has been a wonderful few days away, and I'm sure we will be returning to Norway!
