Conker

Realised I hadn’t taken a photo today but picked up a conker on my walk so here it is next to my key box. It’s funny how the ground is littered with them now whereas when I was young they wouldn’t of even hit the ground before being seasoned with vinegar or baked and put on a string to play conquers. How times change. I love the feel of their shiny surface. So soothing.
Caught up with my lovely friend Pete in Boston tea party for our Thursday coffee. Finished up my work for two weeks although I will have to do a little bit tomorrow as it’s the first day of the month. And finish the packing of my van for my travels. This week has seemed to drag by as I can’t wait to get away for a two week break from work. Packing for the English weather is way more difficult than going abroad to the sunshine.
