Where you bin?
Tired and under-the-weather today so felt lacklustre. Audrey woke up when there was still a six on the clock this morning, which I am sure contravenes our unspoken mother-daughter agreement. I was so tired that my husband let me go back to bed.
Luckily Gemma was here today which gave me a break so after I'd done some paperwork, I got a lift into town with my husband to pick up a wedding gift. Gemma had taken Audrey to the library for storytime and we passed them in the car on the way back. We pulled up alongside and Audrey looked so baffled. It was hard to drive on. I wondered how she'd processed our appearance and disappearance in her little mind.
Had the last few hours of the day with her but found her quite challenging as was under par. Took her for a walk after her tea as she seemed quite manic. On the way back, by chance we spotted our missing wheelie bin (it disappeared a few weeks ago) on the other side of Chorlton! God knows how I managed it, but I dragged it home behind the pram. What a sight I must have looked to all the Bank Holiday early evening drinkers on Beech Road.
