From Now On...

The day after…

We’d packed, cleared up and had left time for one last walk to the harbour. It was much calmer today and we were able to walk along the beach from this wild position of yesterday to the safer one chosen by R.

We were almost lead to believe our train from Dunbar had been cancelled, but it hadn’t and we arrived back at King’s Cross by 7pm. Home by 8.30. A few journeys in between but all connections good.

It’s been a wonderful few days, appreciated on both sides which is always good. Hard to say goodbye this morning but we have an open invitation to return whenever. Big Sis has a great family. We heard that Eva has had a good last day. M asked if the baby was coming tomorrow as Mummy wasn’t going to work anymore. The logic of a four year old….
