Bude Canal

Today we walked miles along the Bude canal and back along the cliff top coastal path. The weather deteriorated when we reached the coast.

This egret and nearby heron and cormorant were unexpected close up sights on this sheltered tow path walk.

The walk back to Bude was on high cliffs with a crumbling footpath. Some rerouting of the path was underway as sections have already collapsed into the sea.

A welcome tandoori meal this evening!
