Wind tunnel

This Bude supermarket has a long Perspex tunnel to stop trolleys and their purchasers from being blown into The Atlantic!

It was very windy today. Strong enough to blow us off our step more than once. We did not walk too near the high cliff edge. The wind also whipped up the surf into a thundering tumult. A few solitary surfers still tried to tame the waves.

After another day of long sea walking it was good to find a welcoming former coaching inn for our evening meal.
