Walk to the edge

What a lovely day today. In the afternoon we drove to Boulevard Park and took a walk. We took a new path for me, up along the railroad tracks north of the park. We walked to the boundary between the historic Fairhaven District, where we live, to the next town north called Whatcom. Today it’s all Bellingham but started as five separate towns. On our way back we saw a helicopter flying very close to the water and kicking up quite a spray. We never did find out what that was all about.
