Rosehips

My blip today is of some rosehips that I spotted when I walked up to John Lewis to buy some greetings cards.

I used to love rosehip syrup, and Minadex was also delicious. However, I did not like cod liver oil. There's another not-so-tasty product of this ilk that I vaguely remember, but nobody in my household at the moment is able to come up with its name. It was brown and sticky, the consistency of set honey, and disgusting. Can anyone remember what it was called?
