Commemoration

My route out to lunch today took me through the village of Brockham where these splendid flags are on the green. Beside them is a flower bed with a large EIIR displayed. I am not sure whether they are left over from the Jubilee or a more recent commemoration of the death of our Queen.
I had lunch with three old WI friends. We all had responsible voluntary posts in the WI in Surrey, but we are long since retired. It was fun remembering the times we had together.
